Next time you are on the ice:
- Protect the board so people can?t push the ball by you. Use the board to push off. - Learn to be patient (don?t always hit the ball as soon as it comes to you). - When playing defense, don?t hesitate to bring the ball behind your net (opposition can?t score from their should you lose control of the ball J) - Learn to stick handle while running (this is difficult but will pay big dividends in the future! - Don?t reach when someone is trying to bring the ball past you. Move your feet and run along next to them???..they will never get a good shot off and usually they will lose the ball. - Last but not least, Have Fun!!!! You and your team were great! The Meerkats team talked about you guys every time we meet. We sure had fun hanging around you ?guys? (figuratively speaking of course). Hopefully we will be able to meet in the future, either at a broomball tourney, or if you?re ever in Minnesota don?t hesitate to give us a call! ?Hi? to everyone! Keep up the great sportsmanship! J |

Here's a link to an "advice page" that our old friends, the Inflatable Party Sheep, have on their website. Good stuff for veterans and newbies!

Hey gang. There's a lot of good advice in these two posts. Give it a read and keep it in your head for our next game!
